An innovation in slaughterhouse equipment designed for efficiency, the Wassco inline hand wash steriliser allows you to wash your knife and sterilise it in one operation.
The knife is passed through 43 degree Celsius water rinsing the blade and into a separate chamber from the rinsing water. As the knife passes into this chamber, 82 degree Celsius water sprays over the blade to sterilise it. When the knife is withdrawn, the 43 degree Celsius water cools the blade down, reducing the chances of workers cutting with a hot knife.
